How I work

Change rarely comes from one isolated tool. I look at the influences shaping your choices, patterns and capacity to act—then bring together the methods that best fit the work in front of us.

Real change becomes possible when we stop treating the body, subconscious mind, environment and personal choices as separate.

Most people who come to me are not lacking information.

They have read the books, listened to the podcasts, bought the supplements and tried to follow the routines. They often understand what they should be doing.

The problem is that knowing something consciously does not automatically change the physical, subconscious, and environmental influences that shape our behaviour.

That is why I do not begin with another rigid plan or force every person through the same method.

My approach looks at four interconnected areas: agency, body, subconscious and environment.

Together, they help us identify what may be keeping you stuck, choose the most appropriate tools and begin creating change that works in your actual life.

[EXPLORE WAYS TO WORK WITH ME]

1. Agency

Ownership, coaching, accountability and intentional action

Agency is the ability to recognize what is influencing you and take an active role in what happens next.

It does not mean controlling every circumstance, never needing help or blaming yourself for everything that has happened.

It means learning to distinguish between what you cannot control and what you still have choices over.

Many people remain stuck because they have become passive consumers of information. They are constantly learning, researching and preparing—but rarely translating what they know into consistent action.

Coaching can help close that gap.

Together, we may work to:

  • Clarify what you actually want
  • Recognize the patterns influencing your choices
  • Separate useful information from distracting noise
  • Identify where you still have agency
  • Create realistic next steps
  • Build accountability around those decisions
  • Adjust the plan when real life inevitably intervenes

The goal is not to make you dependent upon a coach.

The goal is to strengthen your ability to understand yourself, make intentional decisions and move forward with greater confidence.

2. Body

Supporting the physical foundations that influence how you feel and function

It is difficult to think clearly, regulate emotions or follow through consistently when your body is depleted, undernourished or overwhelmed.

Your physical state can influence your energy, mood, focus, cravings, sleep and capacity to handle stress.

That does not mean every challenge can be reduced to a supplement, food plan or biohack. It means the body deserves to be included in the conversation.

Depending on the program and your goals, we may explore general education around:

  • Nutrition and nourishment
  • Sleep and circadian rhythms
  • Energy and daily routines
  • Herbalism
  • Metabolic health foundations
  • Light, movement and environment
  • Realistic biohacking practices
  • The repeated inputs your body is being asked to process

This work is not about following an extreme protocol or attempting to optimize every minute of your life.

It is about identifying practical foundations that may better support the changes you are trying to create.

3. Subconscious

Hypnotherapy, NLP, and the patterns of information alone may not change

You can consciously want something different while another part of you continues repeating familiar patterns.

Those patterns are not necessarily evidence that you are lazy, weak or incapable of change. They may have been learned through repetition, past experience, emotional associations or attempts to protect you.

This is where subconscious-change work may be helpful.

Hypnotherapy and Neuro-Linguistic Programming can be used to explore the internal language, beliefs, associations and automatic responses influencing how you think and behave.

Depending on the individual and the goal, this work may involve:

  • Hypnosis and guided imagery
  • Reframing limiting beliefs
  • Exploring automatic thoughts and emotional associations
  • Creating new internal representations
  • Developing more useful cues and responses
  • Practising self-hypnosis or personalized recordings
  • Rehearsing desired choices and behaviours

Hypnosis is not mind control, unconsciousness or surrendering your judgment to someone else.

It is a collaborative process involving focused attention, imagination and suggestion. You remain an active participant throughout the experience.

Not every person or goal requires hypnosis or NLP. These are tools—not the entire approach.

4. Environment

Changing the repeated inputs that shape your choices

Personal change does not happen in a vacuum.

Your physical surroundings, routines, relationships, media, food environment, schedule and daily sources of stimulation can either support the person you are trying to become or repeatedly pull you back toward familiar patterns.

Sometimes we ask ourselves to demonstrate more discipline while remaining surrounded by cues, demands and systems that make the desired behaviour unnecessarily difficult.

Looking at the environment may include examining:

  • What repeatedly enters your body and mind
  • How your home or workplace influences your habits
  • The information and media competing for your attention
  • Relationships and expectations affecting your boundaries
  • Friction making helpful choices harder
  • Cues reinforcing unwanted behaviours
  • Small environmental changes that make follow-through more realistic

The purpose is not to create a perfectly controlled life.

It is to become more conscious of what is shaping you and make intentional changes where you can.

The tools are not the point

I am trained in transformational coaching, hypnotherapy, NLP, herbalism and biohacking—but collecting methods is not the same as creating change.

I do not believe every challenge requires the same technique.

One person may need greater clarity and accountability. Another may need to address a deeply rehearsed subconscious pattern. Someone else may understand the mindset work but lack the physical foundations or environmental support to follow through.

The method should serve the person—not the other way around.

My role is to help you look at the larger picture, recognize what may be influencing the problem and choose the tools that make the most sense for the work in front of us.

What working together may look like

Although the format will depend on the program or service, our work may involve:

  1. Understanding the current pattern. We begin by clarifying what is happening, what you have already tried and where the pattern appears to break down.
  2. Looking beneath the obvious problem. We examine the physical, subconscious and environmental influences that may be contributing to it.
  3. Choosing the appropriate tools: We select methods intentionally rather than adding another long list of things you are expected to do.
  4. Turning insight into action: We create practical steps that can be applied in your actual life—not an imaginary life with unlimited time, energy and support.
  5. Reviewing and adjusting: We notice what is working, identify what is not and change the approach when necessary.

What you can expect from me

You can expect honesty, curiosity and practical support.

I will not promise that one session, supplement, recording or method will solve every problem.

I will help you ask better questions, recognize patterns that may be difficult to see from inside them and determine what deserves your attention first.

I will also expect you to remain an active participant.

Meaningful change requires more than understanding. It requires experimentation, action, feedback and a willingness to make different choices.

Reclaiming agency does not mean doing everything alone

Support is not the opposite of agency.

The right support can help you see your options more clearly, use your resources more intentionally and begin making decisions from something other than exhaustion, fear or automatic habit.

You do not need to overhaul your entire life overnight.

You need to understand what is influencing you—and begin changing the right things in the right order.

Hypnotherapy

What is hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy is a type of therapy that uses hypnosis, a trance-like state, to help individuals achieve a deeper level of relaxation and focus their attention on specific thoughts, feelings, or behaviours.

Hypnotherapy can be used to treat a variety of conditions, including anxiety, depression, phobias, and addiction. It can also be used to help individuals improve their self-confidence, motivation, and overall well-being.

Hypnotherapy may involve both direct and indirect suggestions, as well as visualization, relaxation techniques, and other tools to help the individual achieve their goals. The therapist may also teach the individual self-hypnosis techniques to use on their own outside of therapy sessions.

It’s important to note that hypnotherapy is not a form of mind control and the individual remains in control and aware of their surroundings at all times. Additionally, hypnotherapy is not appropriate for everyone, and individuals with certain mental health conditions should consult with a healthcare provider before trying hypnotherapy.

Life Coaching

What is life coaching?

Life coaching is a process in which a trained professional, known as a life coach, helps individuals identify and achieve their personal and professional goals. Life coaches work with individuals to help them gain clarity, improve self-awareness, and develop strategies to overcome obstacles and achieve success in various areas of their lives.

Life coaching can cover a wide range of topics, including career development, relationships, health and wellness, personal growth, and spirituality. The life coach typically starts by helping the individual identify their goals and assess their current situation. They may then use a variety of techniques and tools to help the individual overcome challenges and achieve their goals, such as setting achievable targets, identifying limiting beliefs, and developing action plans.

Life coaching differs from therapy in that it focuses on the present and future, rather than on past traumas or issues. While life coaches may help individuals develop coping strategies and address personal challenges, they are not trained to diagnose or treat mental health conditions.

Life coaching is a relatively new field, and there is no standard certification or training requirements for life coaches. However, many life coaches have completed specialized training programs or certifications through recognized organizations.
